Through a mix of child care centers and licensed family child care homes that meet specific standards of quality and receive city funded quality supports, ACCESS families are offered various child care options to meet the needs of their children and families.

Families currently residing (or within the past 6 months) in an eligible San Francisco family homeless or domestic violence shelter with at least one child under 3 years of age  may be referred to ACCESS by case managers who work in the family shelters.
