The Office of Early Care and Education's ACCESS Homeless Child Care Subsidy provides early care and education services to San Francisco families who are homeless with at least one child under age 5 to help stabilize their situation and support their progression to stabile or permanent housing.

Through a mix of child care centers and licensed family child care homes meeting specific standards of quality, ACCESS families are offered various child care options to meet the needs of their children and families.  ACCESS families receive intensive child care case management services through Compass Family Services in San Francisco.
