The Local Homeless Coordinating Board is the lead entity for the San Francisco Continuum of Care Plan. The nine-member Local Board works to ensure a unified homeless strategy that is supported by the Mayor, the Board of Supervisors, City departments, nonprofit agencies, people who are homeless or formerly homeless and the community at large. All efforts are aimed at permanent solutions, and the range of services is designed to meet the unique and complex needs of individuals who are threatened with or currently experiencing homelessness. The Local Board is also the legal entity responsible for presenting a comprehensive funding application each year to the federal McKinney-Vento Program.

Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., at Born Auditorium, 170 Otis Street. For more information, contact Megan Owens, San Francisco Local Homeless Coordinating Board Policy Analyst, at (415) 557-6007 or Megan.Owens@sfgov.org
