Your Responsibility After Applying
- Complete the mandatory assessment at 6 months to continue participation in the program.
- Pay your portion of rent based upon previous rent history.
- Obtain temporary housing with a landlord that is and/or able to become a certified city vendor.
- Once approved, tenant must begin using the subsidy within 90 days after qualifying incident.
- Rent controlled tenants must also maintain the right to return to their previous unit once repairs are completed.
- You have 30 days after the incident to notify the landlord of your intent to return.
