What is JobsNOW!
JobsNOW! is our employment training program that matches SFHSA clients with local employers and gives them the support needed to find meaningful employment. We offer help with career exploration, resumes, interview preparation, and digital skills.
Through JobsNOW! our clients can:
- Earn money while they learn through on-the-job training
- Gain occupation specific and transferrable skills
- Meet professionals and peers who can help you grow
JobsNOW! offerings include:
- Public Service Trainee (PST) Program: Offers temporary, paid training and hands-on experience with the City of San Francisco
- On-Site Training Program: Offers paid training and hands-on experience with private and non-profit employers across a variety of industries, which may lead to an opportunity for longer-term employment.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Get public benefits through SFHSA such as CalWORKs, CalFresh, or County Adult Assistance Programs (CAAP).
