Disability + Aging Services LGBTQ Programs
LGBTQ Care Navigation Program: The ShantiProject coordinates care and volunteers to provide emotional and peer support through regular visits with clients. The program also provides resources for clients to maintain their pets, which help prevent isolation.
LGBT Dementia Care Project: The Family Caregiver Alliance facilitates provider care for clients with dementia and connect them to hospitals and community organizations.
LGBTQ Financial Literacy Program: The Smart Money Coaching works with individual client’s to achieve measurable outcomes, such as establishing a safe and affordable banking account, decreasing debt by at least 10 percent, and establishing or improving credit score.
Housing Subsidy Program: This Q Foundation provides a housing subsidies and access to other services. to help stabilize housing at risk from rent hikes or loss of income.
Affordable Housing: Openhouse and Mercy Housing sites provide LGBTQ-friendly housing. Both sites are located next to the Bob Ross LGBT Senior Center, which offers social and recreational activities, communal dining, case management, and other supportive services.

LGBTQ+ Aging & Abilities Support Network (LAASN): This Shanti Project provides a wide range of services including care navigation, peer support, volunteers, social and wellness programs, and client advocacy.
