Request for Proposals (RFP) #1083 Disability Community Cultural Center
The San Francisco Human Services Agency (SF-HSA) announces its intent to seek proposals from organizations or individuals interested in contracting to develop and manage a Disability Community Cultural Center (DCCC) at The Kelsey Civic Center, once it is built, which will be located at 165 Grove Street, in the City and County of San Francisco. The DCCC will provide virtual and in-person community service programming, educational, artistic, and social networking opportunities focused on serving individuals with disabilities and their allies who live or work in the City. The DCCC will bring diverse people with disabilities together to access resources, advance social justice, and foster disability culture, community and pride.
Applicants eligible to apply for this grant include individuals, non-profit community providers, for-profit providers, and partnerships and/or collectives of individuals or organizations who have an identified lead. Collaboration that creates a greater impact in service delivery through the sharing of skills, knowledge, and resources is encouraged. Applicants must clearly identify roles of all partnerships named in the proposal as well as identifying who will hold financial responsibility. For collectives and partnerships, include a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Letter of Intent (LOI).
