Naturalization Services
Naturalization Services provide free help to older adults and adults with disabilities with their naturalization process.
Who is eligible?
Legal permanent residents of San Francisco who are aged 60 and above, or aged 18 and above with a disability.
Services provided
- Preparation for naturalization test including Learning English as a second language and basic U.S. history and government curriculum
- Individual counseling, guidance, and support, including preparing forms such as the N400, explaining the citizenship process, and checking on the status of pending applications
- Assistance with applications for disability and/or language waivers so seniors and people with disabilities can be accommodated
- Legal services, including information, advice, counseling, and representation
- Translation service (oral and written)
- In-home services for homebound clients
