What is CAAP?
CAAP provides cash assistance to San Franciscans without dependent children. You can apply for CAAP if you have low or no income, cannot work, or are a refugee or immigrant.
CAAP issues monthly funds on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card that you use like a bank card for purchases at retail stores or at ATMs to withdraw cash.
Your eligibility for CAAP is based on residency, income, and expenses.
